The girls start their skating lessons Sunday - should be fun to watch them learn that new skill.....And Eric 'started' swimming lessons but he was really in over his head....(pun intended).....so we moved him to a class that still 'makes' parents get in the water ....but thats ok....if it helps him get ready for summer swimming all the better.
Hit the Reston/CCT trail today....first time outside on the bike this year as I am still in rest mode AND battling some bug that wont go away nor will it become a full blown sick. Guess it goes w/ the territory having 3 little germ carriers around as well as having the body on full tilt race mode for a few months....its tired now. Trail was good overall....many parts still rock hard but some softening.....if it goes to 60+ it won't be ridable.....bike was a tad muddy...but a nice brush purchased in KC at Nats and some warm water fixed that quick. Hope to ride road today but weather and other things may prevent that....CT signups happen today at 12....got to get the hole shot on that...
House is de-xmased now - started raking my sweet gum seedpod collection I share w/ the neighbors every year.....most don't like it....but its a pretty extensive collection....distributing it self all over the place....to each his own I guess... 8^)
