Ordered a new bike - its been 13 yrs come Oct I've been on my custom Spectrum
- steel is real w/ Campy - upgraded seatpost and crank but its still pretty vintage 95....At 22lbs it is heavy but I figured all that extra just made me stronger.....so this one arrived the other day.... Specialized SWorks Tarmac SL. Just the frame set - the build will begin soon....
Eric turned 3 Saturday....his 2 cousins and his school pal where here....they made short work of the playroom.....and the cake.......He got his new rig too.....been eyeing it everytime we went in the store.....funny though....his 7 yr old sister is riding it around the house more than he is....
Great article in Wash Post about these 11 misfit Cub Scouts who all made it to Eagle Scout - Being a scout albeit only a First Class at that - I think its a great organization despite its controversies....but what organization doesn't have issues today - or more likely has people pointing out issues. Anyway...this article keeps my faith up in a world that seems to forgo the long road for the short cut and leave the hard work to the side ......

BTW...its really cold out today - so I opted for 1h30m at Spokes on the CT w/ some tri friends and my racing stoker. Good EM stuff on the Australian Ironman course.... However read a few blogs and many were out riding....wow!!

Hah, found your blog! Nope, no TT bike for me....YET. I am pretty bummed that they ran out of that Transition; that was definitely the bike I wanted. I'm considering a giant now, because I can get a deal, and they have the geometry. Stay fit!
